Craft Fair post 2

These  cute bookmarks are easy to make and made great secret Santa gifts and stocking stuffers.  I punched the owl in Real Red card stock 102482 with the Owl Builder Punch 118074 and punched his shirt from Whisper White card stock 100730.  Scraps were great for these as you don't need large pieces.  I used a 1/2 wide strip of scrap about 3" long attached to my red and white scrap pieces with Dotto 103305 to hold the scrap in the punch area. The Real Red hat is from the Small Oval Punch 120908 and the Whisper White rim of his hat is the Word Window Punch 119857 cut in 1/2.  I used wiggle eyes, a hand cut strip of black for his belt, a small hand cut square of silver glimmer paper for his belt buckle and a circle from the Itty Bitty Punch Pack 118309 for the ball on his hat. The owl is mounted on Basic Black card stock 121045  punched with the Decorative Label Punch 120907 which is mounted on a piece of Old Olive card stock 100702 punched with the Large Scallop Circle Punch 118874. I hot glued the Owl sandwich to a large paper clip and put another scallop punched piece on the back to cover the glue and paper clip.

A friend of mine actually made the Grinch.  She used Old Olive card stock 100702 punched from the Curly Label Punch 119851 for the face and Real Red card stock 102482 punched with the Petite Pennants Builder Punch 122361 for the hat.  She turned part of the hat towards Grinch's  face and used the Itty Bitty Punch Pack 118309 to punch the small circles for the rim of his hat and the ball on the end of his hat.  His face is hand drawn and she used the Owl Builder Punch for his eyes.  As with mine she glued the face to the large paper clip and cut an additional of Old Olive card stock with the Curly Label Punch for the back of the bookmark.
