Today I have a video from Shannon with Stampin' Up! introducing our new ink pads. If you haven't tried them, you will love the new firm foam pads....awesome! You get complete coverage with light tapping. I had a problem with this at first and smooshed, tapped and rubbed way too hard creating an outline from ink on the edge of my rubber.
Additionally five ink colors have undergone formula changes to improve
functionality and color stability with the new firm foam pads. These
colors are
Basic BlackBasic Gray
Marina Mist
Perfect Plum
Tempting Turquoise
All five colors of the reformulated inks have been fully tested and
approved. While using the new ink formula in the old Stampin’ Pads is
fine, Stampin' Up! does not recommend using the old ink formula for
these five colors in the new firm foam pads.
I
need 6 people for an ink pad/marker club. If you are interested please
let me know and I will send details. The markers are being sold in
sets now with the exception of a few of the more popular colors.
Buying a set of ink pads saves you 16% as opposed to buying a pad/pads
individually.
I would also like to share with you today a 3x3 card I made for the end of year teacher goodie bags we are giving to staff at a school our church has adopted. I made 90 of these cuties :) This is a versatile card that can be used for any occasion.
I used the Bright Blossom stamp set that was introduced with the Summer Smooches promotion. I punched a hole in the middle of the card with my 1 3/8" punch, stamped my tulip on the punched out circle which I mounted on dimensionals on the inside of the card. The leaves were colored with my Old Olive marker, huffed on and stamped under my tulip. The ribbon was some I had left from the Sale-a - bration catalog. When you open the card the tulip is on the inside.
Hope you enjoyed this little card.
Thanks for stopping by,
Inky Huggz,
