This is one of the cards we made at the magnificent 10 card club.  I am still sad at the loss of Everyday Enchantment paper but can't wait to see what is in the new catalog! The card base is Poppy Parade.  Whisper White card stock is embossed with the Vintage Wallpaper embossing folder and punched with the blossom punch.  Notice the punched Flower was used on the inside of the card.  The middle of the front flower is a Poppy Parade card stock circle punched with
 the 1 3/8" punch, a piece of Whisper White card stock stamped in Lucky Limeade with one of the stamps from the Mixed Bunch set from the Occasions Catalog punched with the 1 1/4" punch is layered over the Poppy Parade circle.  Add a flower button and the Lucky Limeade Ribbon from Sale - a - bration and you have a cute card!

 

Tip:  I took this picture before I put a 1/2 piece of white card stock on the inside.  It is a good idea to do this when you have a darker card base so your message and signature will be visible.

ANSWERS TO SOME QUESTIONS ABOUT THE RETIRED ACCESSORIES LIST

WOW!  was all I could say as I looked at the retired accessories list.  After I recovered from the lengthy list I searched for some answers to questions I know you must have.  First let me say that many of these items are not leaving but are being upgraded to better items.  So, let's get excited about what we will find in the 2012-2013 catalog.

The first big concern I had was, what's up with the ink pads, are they changing all of the colors? Here is the answer to that question.

Introducing. firm foam pads!


Above you will see a picture of the new Firm Foam Stampin' Pads.  They will change your stamping experience for the better.


Here are some of the benefits of these new pads:

They provide better ink coverage for your stamps!


Light-tap stamping produces flawless images!


The pad stays juicier for longer resulting in better ink pad longevity!


The also have a crisply printed, glossy label on the top of the pad that is easier to read and that will not fade or chip off!  They come with color name labels in 4 languages you can add  to the side of the pad for easy identification!

Here is some additional information on Catalog changes.  Nearly all of the stamps will now be available in clear mount and the seasonal catalogs will be much larger offering more seasonal stamp sets to choose from.


Not all 12" x 12" cardstock colors will be available in individual packs anymore. However, color assortment packs will be available, and some colors from each color collection will be available in individual packs.


While some Stampin' Write Markers are being retired, color assortment packs will still be available.
Craft Stampin' spots are being retired,  the Classic Stampin' spots will be available for the Getting Started color palette only.


Decor Elements and Simply Adorned lines are being discontinued
